Peperomias
Peperomia species, hybrids and cultivars
Family: Piperaceae
The 20-08-2024 edition of Get Results Gardening has an introduction to this genus. Ask for a copy of this edition when you request your free trial if you want to read the article (Australian residents only please). GRG is an mini-magazine delivered via email. There's something to interest all Australian gardeners but it has an emphasis on South East Queensland and subtropical climates. It covers suitable plants to grow here as well as other techniques, design ideas and gardening news. Free trials are available. Go to calyx.com.au/getresultsgardening.html for more information.
Peperomias in the Landscape
More pictures will be added over time. The idea is to show what some of the readily-obtained varieties look like and show examples of them growing outdoors including in the ground. (Most websites are concerned with growing them as indoor plants.)
Peperomia clusiifolia 'Jelly'
Species and cultivar unknown, but appears to be a dark-leaved form of Peperomia clusiifolia
Peperomia verticillata, Red log peperomia (it's not clear if "red log" is a cultivar or a common name for the species)
Peperomia buntingii
