Australian native Graptophyllum species
Family: Acanthaceae
The two species mostly cultivated are holly fuchsia Graptophyllum ilicifolium (also called Mount Blackwood Holly) and the scarlet fuchsia, Graptophyllum excelsum.
Another that might be obtained is the Queensland holly, Graptophyllum spinigerum. A forth native species (Graptophyllum reticulatum is rare and andangered.
